MAHC offers online access to medical records
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) announced today that they are offering access to medical records via the MyChart online patient portal.
The MAHC says the MyChart portal is a web-based platform that allows patients to access their medical records, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from anywhere in the globe.
Cheryl Harrison, President and CEO says "MyChart was developed by Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and is used by more than 40 hospitals across Ontario.”
MyChart is also being launched by primary care and will be available soon from the Algonquin Family Health Team, Cottage Country Family Health Team, and North Muskoka Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic in Huntsville.
This project is also collaborating with the Muskoka and Area Ontario Health Team, Couchiching Ontario Health Team, and Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.
Patients can sign up online at www.mahc.ca/mychart or the next time they visit the hospital.
