Man held in custody following drug bust
A drug-related search warrant executed in the Village of Sundridge has led to the arrest of three individuals.
Police say that on Tuesday, the Almaguin Highlands OPP Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team seized a significant amount of drugs and cash during the operation.
Officers confiscated over 9 grams of suspected cocaine, 16 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and more than 23 grams of suspected fentanyl, with a total street value of approximately $7,000. As a result of the investigation, three people were arrested and one was charged.
James Lee, a 40-year-old from Sundridge, faces charges for multiple offenses, including possession of drugs for trafficking and failure to comply with a probation order.
He has been held for a bail hearing and remains in custody.
