More businesses get on board to support Bracebridge's new sports complex
The Town of Bracebridge has unveiled the latest community sponsors for the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, contributing nearly $4 million to the project's success. The generous organizations include the de Koning Group, Stevens' Your Independent Grocer, Dr. Ted Zhou, the de Koning family, and Muskoka Kia, each securing naming rights for various facility components.
Key contributors also include John Sisson and Robin Hiltz, who donated $15,000 for defibrillators, and the Lions Club of Bracebridge with a $2,000 donation.
As the center nears its August 2024 opening, it's now 70% complete, with ongoing construction focusing on electrical, mechanical, and interior finishing.
