Motorcyclist dies after collison with SUV

The Huntsville OPP is investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV that occurred on Friday.
Police report that at around 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the crash on Aspdin Road near Gross Road in Muskoka Lakes.
A 72-year-old man from Wakefield, Quebec, who was riding the motorcycle, was taken to West Parry Sound Hospital but later died from his injuries. The SUV’s driver and passenger sustained minor injuries and were treated at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
Aspdin Road was closed for several hours as OPP Technical Collision Investigators examined the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to contact Huntsville OPP.
