Planned power outage affects services tonight at Huntsville Hospital

A planned power outage is happening tonight at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital as crews work to connect the new MRI suite to the electrical system.
The four-hour outage starts at 8 p.m. and is expected to last until midnight, affecting much of the hospital’s critical equipment.
During this time, no scheduled surgeries, outpatient tests, or treatments will take place, and obstetrical deliveries are being redirected to South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge.
