Man charged with 2 counts of shoplifting from LCBO
Huntsville OPP have arrested a man in connection with two thefts at the local LCBO.
Officers responded to incidents on February 14th and 24th before spotting a suspect vehicle leaving the store last week. A traffic stop led to the arrest of 44-year-old Adam Yearley of Huntsville, who now faces two counts of theft under $5,000.
Yearley is set to appear in court on April 7th in Bracebridge.
Police say retail theft continues to be a growing concern across Canada, with shoplifting costing businesses over $9 billion last year.
