Police Bust Illegal Pot Shop
On Friday, members of the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team (PJFCET) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Street Crimes Unit (CSCU), executed a search warrant at an illegal cannabis storefront on Highway 69 in Henvey Inlet First Nations, Ontario.
Police seized suspected cannabis bud, hash and edibles. The estimated street value of the cannabis seized is approximately $33,730. Police also seized $229 of Canadian currency.
39 year old David Brennan, of Sudbury, was arrested and charged with Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before in a Justice, in Parry Sound Court on February 28, 2019.
