Richter pushes back on comments by Smith on Green's housing policy
In the ongoing debate over Ontario’s housing policy, Matt Richter, a candidate for the Ontario Greens, is pushing back against accusations from local PC candidate Graydon Smith.
Smith claims the Greens’ plan could force 11-storey condo towers onto small-town main streets, such as in Huntsville, Bracebridge, and Parry Sound.
Richter calls this misleading, stating that the Greens' policy targets urban centers with populations over 100,000, not rural areas. He argues that the PCs have failed to meet their own housing targets and are using scare tactics to distract from their record.
