Police charge tractor trailer driver with impaired
The Almaguin Highlands OPP have charged a Winnipeg truck driver with impaired driving following a traffic stop on Highway 11.
Police say that on Wednesday at around 10:45 p.m., officers pulled over 39-year-old Simon Golom, after noticing his commercial vehicle had no rear lights.
Golom faces charges for impaired operation by alcohol, having a high blood alcohol concentration, and vehicle violations including missing mudguards.
He is set to appear in Court at a later date.
