Police seeking hit & run driver

OPP are continuing their investigation into a collision involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian in Gravenhurst.
Police say that on Monday, November 18, officers responded to reports of a collision that occurred earlier that morning.
Around 8:45 a.m., a 15-year-old youth was crossing the intersection of James Street and Muskoka Road South when a blue 4-door hatchback, traveling eastbound, made a right turn onto Muskoka Road South and struck the youth. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
The pedestrian was assessed at the hospital and treated for minor injuries. OPP are asking anyone with information to come forward.
