Recent death in Magnetawan ruled a homicide

The Almaguin Highlands OPP are investigating a recent death as a homicide.
Police say that on Thursday, at approximately 9:00 a.m., officers discovered a deceased individual near Kirkpatrick's Road and Highway 124. The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Preston Daultrey of North Bay.
The OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, is leading the homicide investigation, with support from Forensic Identification Services and the Office of the Chief Coroner.
Police say there is no ongoing threat to safety.
