Shoppers in Dorset may be shocked to find that Robinson’s General Store is closed. The iconic store was locked on Sunday with a note on the door saying “The store is temporarily closed until further notice.”
Employees were told on Sunday that the store would be closed for an undetermined period of time.
According to multiple sources, there are unconfirmed reports that the new owners ran into financial problems and the previous owners, who held the mortgage were now in possession of the property.
