Sabrina Park affordable housing project grinds to a halt

An affordable housing project in Huntsville, years in the making, has stalled, leaving unfinished townhouses and the property up for sale.
The initiative, meant to bring mixed housing to Sabrina Park Drive, faced multiple delays, ownership changes, and setbacks, including the pandemic. While the land is no longer owned by the municipality, the town has agreements in place to ensure the project gets completed.
A report on the issue is expected to be presented to council in the near future.
