Snow load concerns close Gravenhurst's Centennial Centre

The Centennial Centre in Gravenhurst will be off-limits this weekend as town officials take precautions against potential structural risks.
Andrew Stacey, the town’s Infrastructure Services director, says a recent inspection revealed that heavy snow on the roof, combined with the forecasted rainfall, could create safety concerns. As a result, the facility will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Officials will monitor conditions over the weekend and are hopeful the centre will reopen by Monday. Updates will be posted on the town’s website and social media.
