Shoplifters brandish a weapon and then flee

Bracebridge OPP are investigating a disturbance at a retail store on Depot Drive that occurred yesterday. Officers were called at 3:50 p.m. after staff reported three men attempting to shoplift. The situation escalated when one suspect brandished a weapon, and all three fled on foot.
Police quickly responded with the K-9 unit, Emergency Response Team, and a drone, but the suspects were not located.
Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. The investigation continues, and anyone with information is urged to contact Bracebridge OPP or Crimestoppers.
