Single vehicle accident claims the life of the driver

A fatal crash in Bracebridge early Sunday morning has claimed the life of the driver.
Police say that at around 1:54 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a single-vehicle collision on Stephenson Road 1 East.
Police say the vehicle, traveling eastbound, struck a tree and became fully engulfed in flames. Tragically, the sole occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
