Thieves steal $10K worth of copper wire
Huntsville OPP are investigating the theft of copper wire from a utility pole.
Police say the theft occurred between sometime between 7p.m. and 8p.m. on Thursday, April 4th, after thieves severed and removed the communication line from a pole located near Greer Road in Huntsville.
OPP report that the suspects were driving a pickup truck and would have been heavily loaded with approximately 1000 lbs of wire. Damage has been estimated to be more than $10,000.
Huntsville OPP are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the persons responsible.
