TLDS cuts ties with Twitter
The Trillium Lakelands District School Board is cutting ties with X, formerly known as Twitter.
In Monday’s announcement, the board cited declining engagement and concerns over content changes on the platform as key reasons for the move.
Carolynne Bull, TLDSB’s Manager of Communications Services, says some posts saw no engagement at all, making the platform ineffective for reaching their communities.
The board will continue sharing updates through SchoolMessenger, its website, and social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
