Woman charged with impaired and possession of cocaine
A traffic stop in the Village of Sundridge led to an impaired driving arrest on Saturday.
Police say that at around 8:05 a.m., officers with the Almaguin Highlands OPP conducted a stop and noticed signs of impairment in the driver.
After further investigation, 29-year-old Emily Stewart of Magnetawan was arrested and taken to the detachment for testing. She faces several charges, including possession of cocaine, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, driving without insurance, and having a color-coated vehicle that obstructed the interior.
Stewart is scheduled to appear in court on December 12th in Sundridge.
