Algonquin Park fires being held

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry reports that two Algonquin Park wildfires discovered on June 3 are "being held."
Algonquin Park 6, - 18 hectares in size, and Algonquin Park 7, at 2.1 hectares, were both discovered on Saturday, in the northeastern section of the park.
The Aviation, Forest Fire, and Emergency Services reported that Algonquin Park 6 had increased in size significanly on Monday, while Park 7 remained at 2.1 hectares.
The fires are "being held" according to officials.
