Bracebridge wins best recreational facility award
The Town of Bracebridge announced two recent recognitions for their commitment to community service:
The Town's Recreation Department has received the Lifesaving Society’s Swim to Survive® Award, recognizing municipalities and school boards that provide essential Swim to Survive training to their target populations.
In 2023, the Aquatics team, in collaboration with local partners, successfully trained 90% of grade three students.
And the Bracebridge Sportsplex has been honored with the Muskokan Readers Choice Award for the best recreation facility and best swimming instruction in Muskoka. The town says the Sportsplex team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to the community, and this award is a testament to their commitment to excellence.
