Damaged pipe causes delays at Taylor Rd construction project

The District of Muskoka recently announced on Facebook page the discovery of an old section of pipe near the Canadian National (CN) Railway track, crossing Taylor Rd, requiring removal and delaying the re-opening of both lanes at the Taylor Rd bridge, currently under construction.
However, the District says that before any action can be taken, approval from CN is needed.
Consequently, both lanes from Hiram St. to Woodchester Ave. will need to be closed within the next two to three weeks.
