District breaks ground at new Fairvern site

The District of Muskoka held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new location of Fairvern Long-Term Care Home this morning, marking a new chapter in the lives of its residents, who will call the new facility home in 2025.
The District says Fairvern will be much more than a place for our residents to live; it will be designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment, offering a personalized and intimate living experience with opportunities for meaningful interaction.
This week, the contractor is breaking ground on the new site on Centre Street North in Huntsville and is expected to be complete in late 2025. It’s expected to cost $94 million.
