District launches survey on Muskoka Airport

The District of Muskoka is launching a public consultation to gather feedback on creating a Municipal Services Corporation for Muskoka Airport. The District says this governance model aims to give the airport more business-like flexibility, enabling faster decision-making and attracting private-sector investment while keeping ownership with the District.
Residents are encouraged to participate in a short survey, open until November 29, 2024. The insights gathered will help shape a final recommendation, set to be presented to District Council in early 2025.
