Fednor announces over $2.2 Million in funding for local businesses

Two local businesses are receiving over $2.2-million in federal funds.
Patty Hadju, the Minister responsible for FedNor announced $1,631,250 in a repayable loan to Muskoka Aircraft Refinishing to expand and buy equipment. Officials say the money will allow them to service larger aircraft and create 60 local jobs.
Sawdust City Brewing Company in Gravenhurst will receive $503,549 to upgrade its canning line. Natalie Archer with the brewery says the investment will help increase beer production, shelf life, and create new jobs.
Two Muskoka organizations received non-repayable investments. FedNor is giving Muskoka Arts & Crafts $40,500 and Muskoka Chautauqua $35,000 to hire youth interns for a year.
