The municipality says that the recent rain and warmer temperatures are causing rising water levels in Huntsville over the next 72 hours.
Low-lying areas, including Rivercove and the downtown core, should prepare for possible flooding. Some roads may also see flooding due to frozen culverts, and closures are expected. Residents are urged to follow posted signage and check Huntsville.ca for the latest updates.
