Huntsville's Honour Roll on the move
Huntsville’s Royal Canadian Legion Huntsville the Town of Huntsville are inviting the community to celebrate the relocation of the Huntsville Honour Roll to the Canada Summit Centre.
The Honour Roll honors 400 men and women from Huntsville who served in the Armed Forces during the Second World War, representing about 15 percent of the town's population at the time.
The Honour Roll was first displayed in the Huntsville Post Office in November 1947, later moving to various locations over the years.
The official celebration of the Honour Roll's new home will take place at 7pm on October 9th, at the Canada Summit Centre.
