LOB hosting Building Services Open House to prep builders on upcoming changes

The Lake of Bays is hosting a Building Services Open House on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 1:00p.m. at the Dwight Community Centre. The municipality says the event will prepare builders, contractors, designers, and community members for upcoming changes to the Provincial Building Code, effective January 1, 2025.
Key topics include updates on municipal building services, the transition to the Community Planning Permit System, and changes affecting dwellings and cottages. There will also be an open discussion period.
