Man charged after hit and run

Bracebridge O.P.P. have charged a local man following a hit-and-run incident.
Police say that last Friday at 5:35 p.m., officers responded to reports of a 2-vehicle collision on Highway 11 South near Highway 118. Witnesses indicated 1 vehicle struck another and fled the scene.
Police quickly located the suspect's vehicle on Winhara Road and arrested the driver, 39 year-old Kevin Buker from Gravenhurst. He faces charges of operating a vehicle while prohibited and failure to stop after an accident.
Buker is scheduled to appear in Court in Bracebridge on November 19th.
