Police arrest driver with impaired after traffic stop

On Saturday, just after 5:00 p.m. a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Central Region Traffic team was conducting speed enforcement on Highway 11 North in Gravenhurst and conducted a traffic stop near Doe Lake Road.
Police say that subsequent to the traffic stop, police arrested and charged 70 year-old Raymond Quance of Bracebridge, with Operation While Impaired – with a blood alcohol level over 80 and speeding.
He will appear in a Bracebridge Court on January 31, 2023 to answer to his charges.
