Sledder hospitalized after hitting a tree

Investigators from the Haliburton Highlands OPP Detachment are still looking into a snowmobile crash that seriously injured one person.
The Haliburton Highlands OPP responded to a snowmobile collision on Saturday. Police say the snowmobile hit a tree in the Township of Minden Hills in a forested area to the north of Little Millward Lake.
Police say the injured person was taken to a trauma centre.
Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
