Tall Pines looking to cut costs, hoping to turn a profit
Kevin Goodman of the Tall Pines Music and Arts Festival addressed Gravenhurst council at last week’s meeting, seeking permission for festival staff to camp overnight at Gull Lake Rotary Park during this year's event to be held on July 19 and 20.
Currently prohibited by a town bylaw, Goodman argued that camping would lower festival costs, as it has not yet been profitable.
Council appreciated the presentation and decided to review the request, scheduling a report to be presented on June 18.
