Three people charged with trafficking

OPP executed a drug warrant at a residence on Main Street in Sundridge yesterday and seized over $15,000 in suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl and over $2,000 in Canadian currency.
29 -year-old Kayla Paxton, of Sundridge, 18-year-old Ishan Kalia, and a youth, both from Toronto were arrested and face a number of charges including :
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000,
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioids and Cocaine
All three accused remain in custody and are scheduled to appear in a Sundridge Court on January 12, 2023.
