Two female students involved in possible assault at HHS
Huntsville OPP say two youths are facing several charges after a physical altercation occurred between students at a HHS.
Police say that at approximately 1:45 p.m., on Wednesday, they were contacted by school administrators reporting a possible assault.
Officers began an investigation into the allegations and were made aware of a video circulating on social media.
As a result, a 15-year-old female and a 17-year-old female, both from Huntsville were charged with assault, assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000 and forcible confinement.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
Both accused are scheduled to appear in court at a later date and their identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
