Winter storm to hit Thursday through Saturday

A special weather statement in effect for Huntsville – Baysville and the Almaguin Highlands.
Environment Canada says a winter storm is possible late Thursday into Saturday.
Snow, heavy at times, will develop late Thursday night into Friday. Snow may quickly accumulate and visibility may be reduced to near zero at times.
Environment Canada says there will also be a risk of freezing rain on Friday which may result in untreated surfaces becoming icy and slippery. Snow and any freezing rain will taper to flurries Saturday morning.
There remains some uncertainty in the exact track of the system which will affect precipitation types and amounts.
