Youths charged after pointing a gun

OPP have laid charges for a weapons offence in an investigation that occurred in Severn Township.
Police say that on Saturday, February 3rd, officers responded to a report of two individuals with a weapon on Gray Street in Severn Township.
Officers discovered that the suspects had been firing a BB gun, damaging property, and uttering threats.
A 15-year-old and an 18-year-old, both of Severn Township were each charged with:
· Pointing a firearm
· Mischief
· Possession Imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose
· Common Nuisance - endangering life
The accused's will not be named due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
