Bracebridge dealing with roof issues at new MLCC

The Muskoka Lumber Community Centre is dealing with roof damage from the December 2024 winter storm, causing leaks. The Town of Bracebridge says temporary fixes are in place, but permanent repairs are scheduled for spring.
Closed areas include the children's and public washrooms at the Coulson Family Bracebridge Library, with an alternative nearby. The Makerspace remains open but may have limited programming due to damage. Other library spaces are unaffected.
Leaks have also been reported at the Muskoka Lumber Arena and Proline Rentals Fieldhouse, with repairs planned for spring.
