Bracebridge wants input on new accommodation tax

Posted: 2024-10-08 15:07:49 By: thebay

Bracebridge is moving forward with a Municipal Accommodation Tax, aiming to gather public input on local tourism needs.

Council approved the tax in October 2023, and now residents and tourism stakeholders are encouraged to participate in an online survey by Sunday, October 20.

Currently, Bracebridge is the only urban center in Muskoka without this tax, which could generate vital funds for tourism initiatives.
