Driver faces list of charges after police receive numerous complaints
Police charged one person in Bracebridge with several offenses after complaints from members of the public.
Police say that on Friday night, officers received several calls from members of the public about a vehicle travelling through Bracebridge making unsafe maneuvers in residential areas including Tamarack Trail, Balls Drive and Manitoba Street.
Officers stopped the vehicle, and arrested 22-year-old Marc-Andre Ouellette of Orleans and charged him with:
- Operation While Impaired by Alcohol or Drug
- Dangerous Operation
- Mischief - Destroying or Damaging Property
- Theft Under $5000, and
- Assaulting a Peace Officer
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
