South River man arrested for impaired in Burk's Falls

The Almaguin Highlands OPP charged a South River man following a report of a potentially impaired driver.
Police say that on Saturday, around 11:00 p.m., officers responded to the complaint on Ontario Street in Burks Falls and arrested the driver for impaired operation.
A 54-year-old South River man was charged with impaired operation and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on February 20, 2025.
