Huntsville sets guidelines for tax increases for the upcoming year at up to 5.4%
The Town of Huntsville is proposing a net tax rate increase range of 2.7% to 5.4% for the 2025 and 2026 budgets according to a staff report heard this week.
Staff report the increases are in line with the Town's Budget and Financial Controls Policy and current inflation rates.
The guidelines will aid in the preparation of the Draft Budget. Council has approved setting next year’s net tax increase range at 2.7% to 4.99% over the previous year.
Staff will also review the 2025-2026 Budget process and recent community survey results.
