MHP reports a record year in 2023

The Huntsville General Committee meeting saw presentation of the Muskoka Heritage Place’s 2023 Annual Report, offering insights into the activities, including an Activity Report and Collections Report.
Key highlights comprised a record-breaking total of 22,168 visitors, a 22% increase from 2022, introduction of three new programs, special train events on occasions like Father's Day, Labour Day Sunday, and Thanksgiving Sunday, a notable 258% boost in gift shop sales, and an overall revenue increase of 28%. Additionally, the report included a $162,962 bequest from Katherine Anne Hartley's Estate and plans to advance MHP's mission.
Council has accepted the bequest, establishing a reserve fund in her name.
