No injuries in school bus fire

Around 8:30 a.m. this morning, the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Earls Road.
Firefighters from Station 1 Huntsville, including 11 personnel and 2 trucks, found an electric school bus fully engulfed in flames.
The bus had broken down before the fire started, and the driver had arranged for a replacement bus to pick up the students.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the fire did not damage nearby homes.
Fire crews used water from a nearby hydrant to control the blaze. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the Office of the Fire Marshal has been notified.
The public is advised to avoid Earls Road between Muskoka Road 3 N and Campus Trail due to icy conditions.
