Woman arrested trying to sell items stolen from legion online
OPP have charged a Gravenhurst woman in connection with a theft from the Royal Canadian Legion. The investigation began in November 2024 after irreplaceable clothing items were stolen from the Legion.
Police discovered the stolen items were listed for sale on an online marketplace.
As a result, 49-year-old Alison Nice was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime and trafficking in stolen goods.
She is scheduled to appear in court on February 4, 2025.
