Northern Pass cancer fundraiser this weekend

Bracebridge resident Francis Macapagal, whose father passed away from lung cancer in 2020, is joining over 400 cyclists for the Northern Pass to Conquer Cancer on August 10. Starting at Bracebridge Sportsplex, the 160-kilometer ride through Muskoka supports Toronto's Princess Margaret Hospital, a leading cancer research center. Since its launch, Northern Pass has raised over $3.5 million for cancer research.
Francis, who first saw signs for the event while his father was receiving treatment, is riding for the fifth time to honor his memory. For more information or to donate, visit northernpass.ca.
